There are two ways to reach rajmachi. one is from Karjat Railway Station and another from Lonavala.  If we go from Karajat, first we have to go by sixseater rickshaw up to kondivade village.  From kondivde our trek get starts.  After Kondivde there is another small village Kharvandi.  Specially for Mumbaikars this is the nearest way to go to Rajmachi Fort.  On the way to Rajmachi we can see Kondana Caves which are very beautiful.  After achieving 2500 to 3000 ft. height we reach to Rajmachi.  There is a 22 houses village namely Udhewadi at the foot of Rajmachi Fort.  We can stay there.  We can get the foodstuff and living arrangements with any one of the villager staying there. Actually there are two Forts namely Shrivardhan and Manaranjan.    One more beautiful spot is there called as `Phanaswadi WaterFall'.  U will see it in my picks.  There is a Shiva Temple near a Pond. Specially in Rainy season every trekking group love to go there and enjoy the place, becoz to visit this place in rainy season, u will feel like ******* Slowly and gradually this Fort become most popular.  Not only the trekkers in Mumbai but the outsiders also visit this place e.g.Hyderabad, Aurangabad, Nagpur etc.  Every year we use to visit this place in Rainy season.

Actually there are two forts namely Shrivardhan and Manaranjan and whole the area called as Rajmachi.  There are some more places at Rajmachi like Phanaswadi Water Fall, Bhairavnath Temple which is in between Shrivardhan and Manaranjan Fort, Shiva Temple, Thadicha Amba(this name is given by villagers of Udhewadi), Most of the trekkers love to go there in Rainy season because in Rainy season you go there you will feel like stepping in to the Heaven.  here are some picks of rajmachi. u can see go and get experience of it.  i sure u will definitely love this place.  but do one important thing don't throw plastic bags or any type of plastic garbage while on the way to Rajmachi in Jungle and at Rajmachi, because it will harmfull for nature and of course for human being also.  It is a historical monument and history will never repeat again. so just go n enjoy this beautiful place without any harm to it and try to put it free from pollution.
